The New Zealand Wealth Planning Toolkit

Join host Kate Weiss, Managing Director of Asiaciti Trust New Zealand, and Andrew Clements, owner and director of Grayson Clements Ltd, a leading New Zealand law firm specialising in private wealth and business law. Together, they unpack how New Zealand trusts fit into a comprehensive private wealth toolkit, exploring not just trusts but also limited partnerships, companies, and funds.

Andrew and Kate highlight the pivotal role of trusts in succession and governance strategies, emphasising the importance of discretion, cross-border compliance, and effective risk management for high and ultra-high net worth families. Drawing on real-world examples and the latest trends, the discussion also shines a light on family governance, the significance of values-based planning, and the ways in which resilient structures can support families across generations.
